New class Normal

New class Normal There are a lot of students who wanted to finish school during the time of the pandemic. But how about the students who don't have any access to the internet. How can they join their online classes or google meetings?   The new normal of education here in the Philippines is hard for me, and I know that also includes my fellow students. I feel like I'm not a student anymore. I feel like I just need to do or answer the given activities/tasks to pass this school year and to graduate as soon as possible, but every time I think about it. It’s making me feel guilty for myself because that's what I am doing right now. The one whose mindset is to graduate junior high school on the school year 2021-2022, and not mind if I'm still learning new things or not. And the thing is, I always wanted to teach myself how to be a good student this school next and to the next school year. Like doing my best in answering the given task/activities, teach myself every l...

All Our Problems Has a Solution

All Our Problems Has a Solution In the Philippines, we are facing a very serious puzzle where we need to solve as soon as possible to make our country safer for us and everyone.   The cases of covid-19 here in the Philippines are getting bigger and getting out of control. That's why our government needed us to cooperate. Stay at home when there is nothing to do outside by following the protocols, we can make ourselves safer and not having a chance to get the virus. We should act as one to make our country and people safer from the virus. Do not discriminate against other people when you know that they get the virus, instead try to help for their fast recovery. By doing all of that, we might help them for their fast recovery and help them from their mental illness while recovering from the virus.   We Filipinos needed to face the challenges we are facing right now because that is an obstacle that God gave us to become a better version of ourselves. And to gives us a li...

Just the way I am

This is Norlie Grace Acelador, 15 years of old. My birthday is on December 12. I was raised and have been residing at Lingsat Bantay, Ilocos Sur, for a decade and a year now. What I like about our province is that we are surrounded by nature, and I just love it, it’s so relaxing to see.   If I were to describe myself, I could say that I'm a quiet person because I prefer keeping things to myself. I often tend to keep my thoughts and opinions to myself, maybe because I’m scared that people will say things, maybe because I’m afraid to be criticized because of my opinions and maybe deep inside me, I still think that I’m a little girl not yet ready to face the world, the reality.   I always overthink everything, like what people might think about me when I talk. Because I always imagine them talking about me and laughing at me. Always feeling anxious when walking in public places where there is a lot of people. Now, I realized maybe I’m just too insecure to be me, maybe ...
