Christmas During the Pandemic

Almost 2 years now since Covid-19 started, and for these past 2 years we can’t be able to celebrate Christmas with our loved ones who are living in other countries or provinces because of the lockdown. And because of that, we become closer to our family members and, it makes us realize how important they are in our lives.

And since the pandemic started we become more excited to celebrate Christmas because we can be able to meet again our family members and celebrate it together. Thank God together because we survive this year even theirs a lot of obstacles that we’ve been through.

The essence of Celebrating Christmas during the Pandemic is to be able to meet our family members again and celebrate Christmas together.

Independence came on July 4, the same day as  US  Independence Day, but Filipinos recognize June 12 as the day of their  legitimate  independence.  The independence  of the Philippines was a  great achievement.    Independence Day commemorates  the sacrifices of  national heroes, honors  the  country's sovereignty, instills  nationalism in citizens,  and celebrates  the culture and  traditions  of its people.    parades  are held  nationwide  with  the  participation  of  the  government...

Just the way I am

This is Norlie Grace Acelador, 15 years of old. My birthday is on December 12. I was raised and have been residing at Lingsat Bantay, Ilocos Sur, for a decade and a year now. What I like about our province is that we are surrounded by nature, and I just love it, it’s so relaxing to see.   If I were to describe myself, I could say that I'm a quiet person because I prefer keeping things to myself. Because I always imagine them talking about me and laughing at me. Always feeling anxious when walking in public places where there is a lot of people. Now, I realized maybe I’m just too insecure to be me, maybe ...
