From
traditional to digitalized media where information’s hard to achieve to a
digitalized media where information and data are highly accessible in just a
single click, surely the world has vastly changed.
Mostly
nowadays teenagers are focused on online platforms where they can access any
website they want with or without the consent of their parents. Yes, these
online platforms give a lot of information about almost everything that you’re
curious about but the problem is are all the information you read speaks about
facts or is merely hearsay. Also because the world has become digitalized lots
of people are focusing more on the present issues and present online teas they
often forget the past. If not because of their school requirements I bet only a
few people would be engaged in research and such.
Instead of spending our spare time online lurking and stalking celebrities why don’t we be productive and use our spare time to research the things we don’t know. Just like the incident that happened during the PBB (the host asked about the three priests GOMBURZA), this is a concrete example of why people should not let educators spoon-feed them every information they have to know if they can do it themselves given the fact that such information is very accessible online. Moving on I will not let myself be ignorant of such information and to do so I will continue seeking information from credible sources. Thus, I think practicing critical thinking will also be a great manifestation for me to be enlightened on the things I’m curious about.
